Montblanc - Calligraphy Year 2

2022 marks the year of Montblanc’s latest calligraphy pen - Meisterstück Great Masters Calligraphy. Make 2022 your year to raise your writing skills. The ancient Greek word for “beautiful writing”, calligraphy is the art of giving handwritten letters a graceful and artistic appearance.

The new calligraphy collection includes a LeGrand Rollerball Pen and LeGrand Fountain Pen as well as the all-new Flexible Nib Fountain Pen.

The Flexible Nib fountain pen has a delicately hand-sculpted solid gold nib. By applying different amounts of pressure, the flexible nib allows for a multitude of individual writing styles and line breadths that range from extra fine (0.3 mm) to double broad (1.6 mm) depending on the pressure applied. The Flexible nib is engraved with the iconic calligraphy symbol 888.

The barrel and cap have been made from burgundy precious resin with a degradé effect. The burgundy red colour is a representation of one of Japans most symbolic colours.
