Mysterious and seductive, this fountain pen embraces a matt umbra colouration, designed by LAMY as part of their classic Safari Collection. The fountain is made from ABS plastic with a matt black finish, including the thin band at the top of the grip which clicks-in to hold the cap. There is a matching matt black plastic cap fitted with a stylish yet practical flexible spring brass wire clip also in black; this cap can be placed on the other end of the pen when the pen is in use. For an effortless feel and flow when note-taking the Safari has a formed ergonomic grip to provide optimal writing comfort. The fountain pen nib is made from black chromium-plated steel with the LAMY brand name engraved onto it embracing a slim design shape. The LAMY brand name is also adorned in the pen barrel towards the top for subtle branding and authenticity purposes. There is a twist mechanism near the thin band of the pen which unscrews allowing the user to access the ink cartridge and interior of the pen, which can be seen through the handy barrel viewpoint. This fountain pen is under two year warranty and comes presented inside a small pop up pen gift box.

There is a small selection of fonts which will contain different character designs, and you may not like or approve of some of them. For example, in one of the fonts 'Victoria', the letter 'V' looks similar to a letter 'D' because of the italic serif design. Once an item has been engraved we cannot refund or exchange it, because we will not be able to resell an engraved item.
