The Montblanc Masters of Art collection has just been released by Montblanc it pays tribute to the world-famous artist, Vincent Van Gogh. The rollerball pen celebrates one of the finest painters of the last few centuries and celebrates his later years spent in Arles, in the South of France. With the barrel on the pen being engraved with 1888, to mark the year Van Gogh move to Arles.
The barrel on this rollerball pen features a bright mix of orange and yellow that is reminiscent of the wheatfields in Provence. The vibrant colours are celebrated throughout this pen, and it features a bright yellow emblem that sits on top of the cap.
The shape of this Rollerball Pen has been inspired by Van Goghs love for Japanese woodblock prints, with the shape of the pen designed to match that of a wood-cutting knife. The clip of the pen has been designed to reflect Van Gogh's fondness for pipe smoking, as can be seen in many of his self-portraits.
The limited-edition rollerball pen comes complete in its own bespoke Montblanc Van Gogh presentation box and comes with a 2-year international warranty booklet.
