Platinum-plated Montblanc 149 Meisterstück Fountain Pen. The legendary Montblanc Meisterstück 149 fountain pen is one of the most recognisable and famous writing instruments first launched in 1924. In 2015 Montblanc launched a new 149 fountain pen in a platinum-plated finish. The Montblanc Meisterstück 149 piston fountain pen is Montblanc's flag ship fountain pen that sits within there range of luxury writing instruments. The large hand crafted 18 cwt gold nib with rhodium-plated inlay makes a visual statement. The barrel is made from black precious resin, thick and chunky making the 149 a stunning fountain pen ideal for a gentleman to display on his office desk. The cap also made of black precious resin, inlaid with Montblanc's famous emblem displayed at the top of the cap depicting the snow capped peak of the Montblanc mountain for instant brand recognition. The 149 fountain pen has a platinum-plated clip with the pens individual serial number engraved around the clip ring, the three platinum-plated rings are embossed with the Montblanc brand name and can be seen around the base of the cap. The Platinum-plated 149 fountain pen is beautifully gift boxed.

There is a small selection of fonts which will contain different character designs, and you may not like or approve of some of them. For example, in one of the fonts 'Victoria', the letter 'V' looks similar to a letter 'D' because of the italic serif design. Once an item has been engraved we cannot refund or exchange it, because we will not be able to resell an engraved item.
